- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Complete ripoff. Paid 12k and he had a new attorney supposedly work our case. The date of a key meeting with the judge they didn't show up. Then the attorney assigned to my case left the firm. How convenient. They claim that although that was an unfortunate mistake they still did 12k worth of work preparing. FRAUD! Unfortunately, if your not a lawyer or rich you can't fight a lawyer. Ended up getting a REAL law firm and won full custody after spending about 60k. If Smith was ethical I would have paid him that but due to his cheating and lying I will never recommend this firm. I was recently contacted by someone on Facebook that had the exact same thing happen to them. If you need a great lawyer go with Barnes and Diehl.
